With an IT career spanning over 25 years, Charles Guarino has been a consultant for most of them. Since 1995 he has been the founder and President of Central Park Data Systems, Inc., a New York based IBM midrange consulting company. He has published several technical and strategic articles, and has served as a member of AS/400 Management Magazine’s Editorial Review Board. More recently, he was the featured speaker for a COMMON webcast and iSociety.com Fireside Chat titled “RPG and XML: Using Web Services and XML Documents”. In 2008 he was inducted into COMMON’s Speaker Excellence Hall of Fame and in 2009 was awarded as one of the Long Island Software Technology Network’s Twenty Top Techies. Charles is currently a COMMON Application Development Subject Matter Expert and a Board Member of LISUG, a Long Island IBM System i Users Group.
